Socket Server Functionality Check
NI Measurement
and Automation
Explorer
To test the socket server functionality, National
Instruments Measurement and Automation
Explorer can be used. This program is available on
the NI website, www.ni.com.
Operation
1. Configure the IP address for the
GDS-2000.

2. Configure the socket port.

3. Check to make sure that the scope IP address is
correctly configured by entering the IP address
into a browser connected on the same network.
For example: http://172.16.5.251
If the IP address is configured correctly, the
GDS-2000A webserver will appear in the
browser window.

4. Start the NI Measurement and
Automation Explorer (MAX)
program. Using Windows, press:
